Before entering the field of polygraph, Jared Rockwood spent much of his adult life dedicated to helping troubled teens find recovery and safety. After working for eight years in group homes, the next ten years he specialized as a therapist working with adolescents who engaged in abusive and high-risk sexual behaviors. Jared became interested in polygraphs because of the consistent improvements he saw with his clients as they worked in therapy alongside polygraphs as a tool for aiding accountability and safety. Jared is dedicated to the science of polygraph and was educated and mentored in best practice through his initial training with the Academy of Polygraph Science with PCSOT training through Marston Academy. In private practice, Jared works with PCSOT clients both adult and youth, Pre-employment for a variety of Police and Sheriff Departments, Fidelity testing for various treatment programs, and Forensic testing for defense attorneys. Jared has had an opportunity to contribute to the polygraph magazine and credibility assessment journal on an array of topics and enjoys the opportunity to share his experiences through presentations at various seminars and associations.
